On June 20, 2018, I visited Shanghai Lung Tin Law Firm. Managing Partner of Lung Tin Law, Mr. Wang, and Manager of Patent Prosecution, Mr. Lin, hosted my visit. I would like to thank Mr. Wang and Mr. Lin for their hospitality.
OPES Law and Lung Tin started collaborating on patent prosecution matters this year. My visit was an attempt to further strengthen this partnership. In addition, I believe there are many opportunities for the two firms to collaborate in the future, especially in the areas of patent dispute and litigation. Mr. Wang is a renowned patent litigator in China and has a broad experience representing Chinese clients in IP dispute matters. On the other hand, the strength of OPES Law lies in assisting clients to resolve patent disputes in the United States. Both Mr. Wang and I agree that a joint collaboration between Lung Tin and OPES would greatly help Chinese companies resolving the ever increasing IP related disputes in the United States.
