With global integration accelerating, Chinese enterprises are facing both unprecedented opportunities and complex legal challenges. At the 2025 forum themed “Breakthrough & Transformation”, over 200 legal and business leaders gathered in Shanghai to explore the future of globalization, compliance, and legal strategy.
OPES LAW was honored to be invited as a co-organizer. Our Managing Partner Laurence Kao, Partner Hunter Yen, and Consultant Willie Yeh joined the forum to explore new challenges and strategic perspectives for legal and compliance work across industries.
During the sessions, Laurence delivered a keynote on "Effective Strategies for Managing Multi-Jurisdictional Cross-Border Commercial Litigation", sharing key challenges and considerations in cross-border litigation, along with three essential strategies: effective coordination and communication, budget control and review, and managing the duration of disputes.
Meanwhile, we also engaged with professionals at our booth in the event, exchanging insights on navigating today’s shifting legal landscape.
